The Bourke Street Bakery Parramatta fitout project commenced on December 23rd, 2015 which presented a major challenge to our timeline and all the required organisation due to Xmas shutdowns and the availability of contractors! The site was located right next to the Parramatta Town Hall so there were lots of Council eyes watching as we undertook our works. Thankfully they were more interested in helping us get the site open, so they could enjoy the Bourke Street Bakery food!
This was our first project with the Bourke Street Bakery brand and working with such an iconic brand at the hardest time of the year to deliver fitout projects was challenging yet rewarding at the same time. It was a pleasure to work with David and Paul from Bourke Street Bakery and we appreciated the opportunity that arose purely because we were able to undertake these works when others would not. Stefan from Seven Metres Square did a great job designing the site and it is always inspiring creating something from lines on A3 paper to an actual store. The outcome was amazing especially given the challenges we had to overcome to get everything down at the most challenging time of the year to work!
