The Eve Street Café project comprised of remodelling a worn-out old Thai Restaurant into a brand-new modern cafe. We completely stripped out the existing counter and re-configured the new counter to suit the requirements of a Café. We extended the dining space and transformed the old kitchen into a capable new kitchen with new wall cladding, new stainless steel benches and new equipment to suit. The new counter area boasted an Australian hardwood counter top and recycled timber counter fascia cladding. The wall tiles and column cladding tiles really contrasted nicely against the timber finishes. In the end the site was unrecognisable from the disaster it was before we started.
It was lovely to work with Chris and his team to help transform this old tired venue into a nice new Café for the Erskineville area.
